How do I know if I should contact APT's Premium Service?

If you have a completed program or are developing a special that is suitable for stations' fund-raising drives, contact Premium Service. Your program will be evaluated on the basis of quality and appeal to the pledge demographic. Ancillary products, such as home videos, DVDs and/or CDs are a must.

What if my program is suitable for fund-raising?

If you feel you have a program or proposal that is suitable for fund-raising, please submit your idea via e-mail: premiumservice@aptonline.org Premium Service will contact you if they feel your proposal or program has fund-raising potential.

    Does Premium Service provide funding?

Although Premium Service does program development and acquisition, we do not fully fund projects. Producers are required to find additional funding sources.

What materials do I need to provide?

    1. Producers are required to provide both a pledge version and a standard (non-pledge) version.
    2. One closed-captioned NTSC master on Digital Betacam (preferred) or BetaSP, and one back-up clone or copy for each version.
    3. :30 and :20 promos on Digital Betacam or BetaSP.
    4. Approval of underwriting credits.
    5. Publicity materials: photography, biographies and any related press releases (cleared for use in station advertising, program guides, web sites and by local and national media).
    6. APT promotion staff will prepare a press kit for each licensing station and the listing services. In some cases, APT may assist with regional/national promotion.
