APT programs top the primetime ratings during May sweeps

APT's Globe Trekker, The Miracle Worker, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid all made the list of top 20 primetime public television shows the week of May 17-23. Globe Trekker ranked fourth on the list with an average rating of 1.9 over 8 airings on primary stations.

APT's movies also had strong viewership as The Miracle Worker ranked eighth on the list with 1.8 rating over 7 primary station plays and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid came in sixteenth place with 1.3 rating over 6 primary station plays. On Saturday, May 22, The Miracle Worker aired 6 times and earned an average rating of 2.1, the fifth highest rating for same-day primetime broadcast on primary stations.
