APT movies deliver in month plagued by ratings woes
June was not a spectacular month for public television ratings – metered market data has eroded 26 percent since January. Despite this environment, APT movies managed to deliver for stations. KEY LARGO, SUSPICION, ANCHORS AWEIGH and LOLITA all averaged above a 1.0 primetime average for the month. KETC scored with KEY LARGO on Saturday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., earning a 2.6 – a top-10 public television play that night and the station’s highest-rated primetime program.
