Description
Targeted to pre-kindergarten through third-grade age children, THE ZULA PATROL delivers astronomy-based science education and character-building lessons in an entertaining format. During the series, a group of loveably wacky animated characters travels the galaxies while exploring and solving problems. Stalwart Captain Bula, brainiac Professor Multo, feisty space pilot Zeeter, space pet Gorga and twin flying companions Wizzy & Wigg whisk young viewers across the universe to stimulate their interest, curiosity and understanding of science and astronomy. This season, episodes address a specific National Science Education Standard while introducing the concepts of the scientific method and science inquiry. In addition to promoting literacy, vocabulary and language-building skills, the series also advocates nonviolence and tolerance by encouraging children to think innovatively and approach problems evenhandedly.
