Nature & Science

One night a year, the corals of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef explode into the largest mass breeding event on the planet. REEF ROUTE 66 is the investigative journey of a young environmental scientist (Matt Tomaszewski) and a slightly mad cameraman (Emmy Award-winning marine cinematographer David Hannan) as they set out to record this amazing phenomenon — one of the most spectacular in the undersea kingdom and the keystone in the cycle of life for the entire reef.
