Description

INNOVATE: ENGINEERING CHANGE follows an envelope-pushing team of scientists and engineers committed to developing a new form of renewable energy that harnesses the power of moving water. Combining elements of reality and documentary-style filmmaking, the documentary affords viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges, stresses and successes experienced by team of energy innovators as they install a new water turbines in New York City’s East River. In addition, actor Rob Morrow (NUMB3RS, Northern Exposure)and Debra Humphreys, from Association of American Colleges and Universities, weigh in on the importance of encouraging tomorrow's innovators.
